Manufacturing/Process Engineer
Job Description:
Core Responsibility: Implement, develop, and sustain all process equipment and assembly methods across the Waveguide, Display Assembly, and FATP processes.
Key Deliverables:
- Process Sustaining: Responsible for sustaining process equipment and managing process change control.
- Equipment & Process NPI: Implement new equipment and processes, including validation and qualification.
- Root-Cause & Debug: Root-cause, debug, and implement corrective actions for equipment, process, and quality issues.
- Yield Improvement: Provide manufacturing process support for production yield improvements and build/production Failure Analysis.
- Collaboration: Assist Pegatron in the implementation and qualification of new process technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in consumer electronics manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience with high-volume, world-class design and manufacturing techniques.
- Strong experience with NPI and prototype builds, and understanding of product development and manufacturing procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot systems and interpret statistical data.
- Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of DFM/DFA, change control processes, ability to facilitate RCCA and FMEA activities, and understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
